Wild Boar Trails

The Wild Boar Trails in the Bovlei Valley just outside the sleepy Cape Winelands’ town of Wellington have gained ‘celebrity’ status in recent years due to certain sections being included in the internationally renowned Cape Epic Stage Race. There are six routes that cater to both single track lovers and those who prefer open gravel roads. After a day in the saddle, we love to roll downhill to The Stone Kitchen at Dunstone Country Estate, to enjoy a hearty farm style lunch under the shade of the guava trees or on the verandah, with uninterrupted mountain views.

Expected elevation gain: 750/1500m
Approximate distance: 26 – 42 km

WILD BOAR TRAILS HIGHLIGHTS
